Conference and Workshop Topics

These comprehensive topics cover most areas women and couples are concerned about - from romance to finances.

He speaks 5,000 words I speak 20,000

Challenge: How do I get her to speak less and him to speak more?

This session is designed to teach wives, engaged and married couples how to effectively use their verbal and non verbal communication skills to improve the quality of their relationship. Tone, timing, and body language are critical when discussing the day to day challenges in life. It’s not always what you say but it’s how and when. Learn to respect and understand the love of your life’s communication style. Disagreements are bound to occur in any relationship, this workshop provides skills needed to disagree effectively instead of hurtfully.

Before I Say, "I Do"!

Challenge:  How do we prepare our personal tool kit to help our marriage be successful as we navigate through this journey called life? What framework is needed to have a real conversation with your potential husband or wife regarding faith, communication style, finances, intimacy, children, and interruptions in life, such as: job loss, medical emergencies, caring for sick parents, and even death?

This is an excellent conference for college and graduate students, as well as anyone contemplating marriage. The focus is divorce prevention by being proactive in marriage preparation. Individuals will prepare for a lifetime journey “marriage” and not just a one-day event “a wedding”.
